ESS Offers Low Bleed Teflon/Silicone Septa on EPA Vials
ESS, the leading source for PreCleaned Containers certified to Drinking Water levels, offers Low Bleed septa on all their EPA vials. With the demand for lower detection levels and the popularity of automated Purge & Trap VOC analysis, ultra clean septa is critical to the Environmental/Analytical industry. ESS uses the highest grade silicone available (free of siloxane and toluene). The septa is post cured after the silicone has been bonded to the Teflon(R). ESS also specs a soft (30 Durometer) silicone that provides ease of injuction and resealing for both VOC and TOC autosamplers. ESS then washes the septa to USEPA procedures for Volatile Organic Analysis which includes deionized water rinsing and high temperature long duration oven baking(this can't be done by septa welded closures). ESS VOA vials are independently tested to Drinking Water Method 524.2 to .5ppb for VOC's. ESS Low Bleed septa are also available for purchase seperately.
