- PrePreserved® CONTAINERS -

ESS was the first company in the environmental container industry
to offer PrePreserved® sample containers and remains the leader by continuing to introduce
new products to our customers. No other company offers such a complete sample preservation system.
The advantages of PrePreserved® containers include:
Convenience - PrePreserved® containers free your important laboratory staff from clumsy,
time-consuming prep tasks, enabling them to devote their time and attention to sample analysis.
Chemical Integrity - ESS uses only lot analyzed, analytical
grade chemicals. Manufacturer's
lot numbers are included on each case of PrePreserved®
containers.
Tighter Chain of Custody - There is no need to open clean containers in laboratory
environments where background
contamination could be a problem. Containers remain sealed until the sample is ready
to be taken.
Quality - PrePreserved® containers reduce the chance
of cross-contamination that can occur when dispensing
chemicals in the field. PrePreserved® containers also reduce the chance of acid
burns or ampoule cuts that
may occur while preserving on-site.
Safety Shipping - PrePreserved® containers are packed and shipped in
accordance with DOT/CFR/IATA/ICAO regulations.
IF FIELD preservation is still your preference, ESS offers
our Dropule Field Preservative Dropper Bottles and our Easy Pour
Field Preservatives, giving two new preservation options to our customers.
Dropule Field Preservative Dropper Bottles - When additional
preservatives are needed or field preservation is preferred, the Dropule is the solution.
These 15 mL
dropper bottles allow for precise dispensing (.05 mL per drop), while the hinged leak-proof
cap allows for safe dispensing.
Paired with the Tuff-Tainer® 5 compartment tray, the Dropule
is ideal for sample kits.
Easy Pour Field Preservatives - Premeasured
preservatives are in quantities up to 10 mL of a liquid chemical. Screw threaded caps allow for field dispensing without the need to break glass, as with ampoule packed preservatives.
